Are you pregnant or were you previously pregnant? Do you have an autoimmune disease, and were you prescribed ULTOMIRIS® to help treat it? If so, you may be able to take part in a pregnancy registry study. All eligible women will have taken ULTOMIRIS, before realizing they were pregnant, during pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
ULTOMIRIS is a prescription medicine used to treat rare conditions affecting the immune system, such as paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (aHUS), generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) and neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD). There are no available data on ULTOMIRIS use in pregnant women. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should consult your healthcare provider before taking ULTOMIRIS.
While rare, autoimmune diseases like PNH, aHUS, gMG, and NMOSD are often diagnosed in women at about the age when they may be thinking of becoming pregnant. These can be life-threatening disorders that may cause medical problems during pregnancy.
The Ultomiris Pregnancy Registry Study will collect information about the possible effects of ULTOMIRIS, on pregnancy, delivery, and the health of babies.
The pregnancy registry study is looking for volunteers who were prescribed ULTOMIRIS and became pregnant before, while, or after receiving it. By sharing your experience, you could help doctors to better understand the possible effects of ULTOMIRIS on pregnancy, delivery, and the health of babies.
